Left 4 Dead Crash Course DLC Coming In September

Valve has announced the release of new Left 4 Dead DLC due in September.  “Crash Course” will bridge the gap between the No Mercy and Death Toll campaigns as well as bring new single-player, multi-player, and co-op gameplay.

While containing both Survival maps and a Co-operative Campaign, the primary goal of “Crash” is to deliver a complete Versus mode experience in just 30 minutes, resulting in a streamlined version of the game’s existing Versus campaigns. A recharge timer for infected teammates has also been added, and item spawn behavior has changed for more balanced gameplay.

Not only will you get the expected new locations, but you will also get new dialogue from the original cast as well as an explosive finale.

If you own the PC version of Left 4 Dead then you are in luck because “Crash Course” will be a free download.  Things aren’t as nice for owners of the 360 version because they will have to shell out 560 MS Points ($7) for this new bit of zombie slaying pleasure.

“Crash Course” should release for both the PC and Xbox 360 sometine in September.  No exact date was given.
