MechWarrior Returning And Getting A Reboot

It has been seven years since the release of the last MechWarrior game and we are going to get a new one. Announced by Smith and Tinker and Piranha Games, the new game in the series will not be named MechWarrior 5. It will in fact be named MechWarrior, showing that this is a series reboot and not just another sequel.

The game is being developed for the Xbox 360 and the PC and there are plans for a full single-player campaign, support for four-player co-op, and a full multiplayer suite.
