Electronic Arts nearly $95 million in the hole this year so far.

Believe it or not, they’re actually happy about it. Considering that they’ve tried to buy the entire games industry most analysts were predicting something more in the range of $111 million.
Sales for the first quarter in the US topped at over $800 million, with their biggest seller this year being Battlefield: Bad Company with 1.6 million copies sold. Rock Band was the biggest seller worldwide. (It’s price tag surely didn’t hurt either. They are also celebrating the success of their mobile gaming efforts as well.
